I have two 3GS iPhones and an Apple Airport Extreme router. Last night my internet was down (cable) and the iPhones would not call out or text. My area is Edge only. Edge was indicated on the phones. I thought the phone would switch to Edge when no WIFI was available, but neither phone would call or text until the internet came back up and the cable modem booted up.
Anyone else have this issue?
