I've been away on deployment for 5 months and now that I'm back I've updated all the software on my iPhone and MacBook. All of a sudden my message threads on my iPhone show a phone number rather than a name at the top of the conversation. I've messaged people since I've been home who already have running message threads but it opens up a new conversation rather than continuing the old one. This is incredibly annoying and I desperately want my messages to be back the way they were. How can I merge these conversations? I also want to keep a lot of my conversations as well.
