I bought a factory unlocked iPhone 3GS in Italy a few weeks ago, running on OS version 3.1. I am currently in Zimbabwe and with my local sim card, with Econet, I cannot send any text messages as it just continuously fails... The funny thing is that I can receive messages. Is there any way to check what message centre number the iphone is using? I've looked everywhere to find that there is no setting to change it. If I put my vodafone one back in I can text on roaming, so I can send texts here. Just can't work out what the problem is. I also noticed that there are no settings for messages like you'd find on other cell phones. Does anyone have a possible solution for me to try?
