Okay I'm really stressing out at the moment so I'd be immensely grateful if you could help me - I'll try to explain the problem briefly.
I broke my iPhone screen recently and went today to get it fixed in an Apple Store. Instead of replacing the screen, they gave me a totally new phone instead.
So I obviously need to get home to sync my new iPhone with everything; it takes a few hours to back up. It opens, but it hasn't synced.
Sometimes today I received a text from Voicemail as well.
So then I sync the iPhone, and most of my stuff comes back, except three of the most important things I have; Texts, Contacts and Notes.
So that's why I'm stressing out. I don't have an explanation for the Contacts and Notes but I was wondering whether the text I received today just came on the new phone, THEN I synced it and it only backed up that single text? My text conversations are precious to me and I'd prefer to be able to get them back immediately.
I've checked and SMS messages are meant to be backed up by iTunes. But they haven't! How will I get them back? Please help
