I've updated my iPhone 3G twice. I still can't send or receive MMS messages! I've tried restarting the phone and rebooting the phone, but nothing is working. My MMS texts always fail and I'm still redirected to the viewmymessage.com site whenever I receive an MMS. My girlfriend's iPhone 3Gs can send and receive MMS with no problems.
