Beware Fake MAC Cosmetics!!!

Buyers Beware!!! MAC does NOT make 120 palette eyeshadows or the MAC 12 cream shadow palette!!! They are all FAKE!!! Knockoffs from China from a company called Manly. You can buy a Manly 120 shadow pallete for $15-20, but when they put the label MAC on it, they are able to sell it for over $100. I got scammed and now I want you ALL to know the truth and be CAREFULL. Any seller claiming they have an authentic MAC 120 color palette or a 12 cream shadow palette is a scammer and should be reported IMMEDIATELY!!! If you are curious all you have to do is google "fake MAC 120 color palettes". Thank you and good luck!|||Thanks for the heads up If you paid with paypal, file a SNAD with them. 1 more treatment, the last one is Aug. 5th, come on Aug. I can do this, I can do this!!!!|||Did you file the Paypal SNAD dispute, return with delivery confirmation and get your refund? If not you need to do this now. After you get your refund report the seller's auctions to Ebay here Link Report here as well Link Google and report the Chinese fake/counterfeit items to Mac Cosmetics directly with the Ebay seller's user ID and a list of their auctions. Posting on the discussion board does not reach many buyers and Ebay does not read the boards. It also does not help the authorities attempt to stop the problem.|||" I got scammed" Did you get scammed as a cosmetic buyer on Ebay or by your cosmetic supplier /wholesaler as a seller?|||I just found out the same thing. It is such a disappointment. Cant believe I got scammed. My palette not only fake but arrived with 6 colors broken. I put a dispute for that but its been 1.5 weeks and I just found this out(wish I did sooner) Do any of you girls know if I can still file a dispute for my reminding purchase price? This seller puts palettes up every certain weeks but has sold several before. How can I report him to ebay with a non listing item yet? Thanks you all for confirming my suspicions.|||You can file 45 days from the payment date. File SNAD.Need a website fast?|||File the SNAD with Paypal and contact MAC regarding the counterfeit item(s) being sold by the seller on Ebay.|||I buy make-up on eBay. I stick to brands and items that I am fully familiar with. Bobbi Brown is one of my favourite brands. I cannot believe how many fake brush sets are being sold! These brushes are expensive and the extemely low prices are a dead give away. In addition, the brushes are being sold in put-ups that Bobbi Brown does not offer. Thanks for the heads up on another problem. Susan|||Buyers need to be extremely aware when buying any name brand or designer goods on eBay. Fakes probably outnumber the real goods. Far too many people think they can buy authentic goods dirt cheap on eBay and in most cases they can't. I cringe remembering how many threads I've read by buyers who bought fakes and know that most will never find these boards to post about it.|||This is a slightly old thread but probably still valid advice about fake MACs. Of course, my thought is... smart make-up buyers don't buy palettes at all anyway! Individuals discs are better, unless you're a pre-teen!|||LOL James! Which brands/colours do you like? Matte shadows work best if you are over 40! susan|||"This is a slightly old thread but probably still valid advice about fake MACs. It is really OK, you are among friends|||No..... not really! Maybe this...?|||James, your a hoot
