ran out of stock

Can someone tell me? My seller sent me a cancellation because of the items ran out of stock. I feel that is not fair for me what I should do? Thank you|||sometimes sellers miscount their stock. What do you want them to do to make it "fair" ?|||Report them as a non-performing seller here...Link Just click the report button at the bottom.|||Get your money refunded immediately!Need a website fast?|||"Can someone tell me? My seller sent me a cancellation because of the items ran out of stock. I feel that is not fair for me what I should do?" Report the seller/auction here for Non Performance LinkYou could also decline the cancelation request so the seller does not get their Final Value Ebay fees back. Sellers are required to comply with the "availability of items" clause in the Selling Practices policy. Link " Product availability When buyers bid on or purchase an item on eBay, they should feel confident that the item is available and will be delivered in a timely manner. What to do You must ensure the items you are offering are in stock for the duration of the listing and are delivered to the buyer, unless the buyer doesn't meet the terms of your listing. If you run into an inventory problem that's beyond your control, you're still responsible for letting the buyer know when the item will be available or issuing a refund for the full amount immediately. What not to do You're not allowed to: List an item that may be out of stock at the time of purchase. List an item that you're simultaneously selling outside of eBay. Offer an item that may not be what's delivered to the buyer." IF it looks like from the seller's Feedback (Check Negatives on toolhause.com) the seller makes a habit of this, then leave an appropriate Negative as follows:" Item listed, won , out of stock post auction" If it looks like from the feedback, it is not a habit of the seller's, I would just leave no feedback at all. You can check your seller's NEG feedback all on one -2 pages here Click the word link Link Always check a seller's negative FB on toolhause, prior to bidding.|||Which auction was it? Often sellers who use Stock, Manufacture's photos and not an actual photo of the item in hand. This is a tip off, they are drop shipping. A drop shipper means the seller lists an item, waits until they have a Ebay buyer for an item and then the Ebay seller places an order with their supplier for the item. The supplier then ships the item directly to the Ebay buyer from their warehouse. Inventory control and accuracy is the seller's responsibility.|||Have you paid for the item yet? IF yes, has the seller refunded you immediately? If you have paid and the seller has not yet refunded, then they should NOT be requesting a cancellation of the transaction, in order to recover their final value fee back from Ebay. If the item is out of stock, no immediate refund was given , then DECLINE the request for cancellation and file the INR ( item not received) to get your refund with Paypal. If you have NOT yet paid, then go ahead and agree to the transaction cancellation.|||Is the out-of-stock item for an auction that you bid on with this id? If so was it for the designer jeans or purse? If this is the case, the seller could be saying that because they didn't get a high enough bid for the item (which is also a violation.) Too many sellers are running out of stock. I wouldn't do a cancellation. Get your money back, don't do business with the seller any more and find a seller who cares about customer service. You have a reason to be annoyed. You wasted your time on their auction(s). Thank you for all answer...I will do it next time|||Not sure about a cancellation but see if you can leave appropriate feedback. Periodically check this seller's auction and see if the jeans appear for sale again. Thank you for all answer...I will do it next time" If you already agreed to the cancelation, then why bother asking here what you should do? Since you did not yet pay for the item, then just forget about these jeans and find another seller to purchase from. Nobody can force the seller to sell the item to you.|||When you agree to the seller's request via Ebay to cancel the transaction, that means the transaction is void, done, finished and you need to move on to another auction/seller. Sounds like the auction ending price was not high enough for the seller or they had the jeans listed and they sold on another venue.|||if walmart has a sale and you run over there to find out they're out what do you do? it happens. seller gives a refund and you move on.|||There are two possibilities here: The seller is dropshipping. As explained above, dropshipping sellers have no control over their stock. They may never have seen what they are selling. In my opinion, filing a NonPerformingSeller dispute would be a sensible move. The seller might start to get the idea that she should sell things she actually owns. The seller didn't get the price she wanted. This is among other faults, fee avoidance. The seller should start the auction at the price she actually will accept. Otherwise she is wasting the buyer's time and her own. Again, a NonPerformingSeller dispute might wake her up. The second of these scenarios is going to become more and more common with the free 99cent auctions eBay is promoting. Mark my words.|||
